NMITE is a Higher Education Institution based in Herefordshire, delivering courses across a variety of engineering disciplines. The rapidly expanding institutions’ aim is to streamline and digitise its internal processes to increase efficiency across the board.

In 2022, NMITE replaced their existing CRM with Salesforce to help with recruitment and admissions. The team at NMITE were looking for a solution to help improve communication between internal teams and understand and improve the customer journey, from initial enquiry through to student acceptance.

New enquiries were coming in from seven different lead sources and distributed to various teams across the institution. One of the main aims of this project was to pull all the data together, improve lead nurturing and monitoring to ensure leads weren’t lost and develop automation meaning leads were followed up effectively and consistently.

As a new institution, tracking lead source vs marketing spend was vital for NMITE. Our expert consultants at NimbusPoint helped them achieve their aims.

The Skinners’ Company is one of the great 12 livery companies and was granted Royal Charter in 1327. Whilst originally associated in the medieval trade of skins and furs, the Company is now an exclusively  philanthropic organisation running schools, almshouses and charities, building on a long tradition of charitable giving.

We initially started working with The Skinners’ Company in March 2019 helping with their initial Salesforce implementation. We then had the pleasure of working with the team again recently to help manage their charitable grant funding programmes.

Motion Picture Licensing Company (MPLC) is a global copyright licensing company based in California. It enables organisations to legally show films and TV programmes intended for personal use, outside the home.

MPLC had deployed Salesforce CRM in Denmark, their next phase involved improving the existing processes and ensuring Salesforce was robust enough to cope with the demands of a multi-territory system. This included full integration of their new finance platform at the same time. MPLC’s existing CRM was slow and unreliable, they wanted an efficient, cloud-based solution to improve efficiencies globally.

The Foundation for a Connected Council

Guildford Borough Council’s (GBC’s) funding from central government was steadily reducing and removed entirely in the financial year 2018/19. The Council is now reliant on Council Tax, retained Business Rates, New Homes Bonus and locally raised fees and charges as its core funding streams. The Council’s medium-term financial strategy identified a need to save approximately £10.4M for the period 2020/21 to 2022/23.

GBC embarked upon a journey to move to a cloud-based solution that would enable the Council to embrace modern digital solutions, reduce costs, empower its Customer Services Team, and improve the customer experience. GBC wanted customers to be able to track and manage their requests online, and remove the need for the customer services team to interact with multiple independent systems simultaneously.

To meet the needs of Guildford’s customers, NimbusPoint created an accessible Customer Portal using Salesforce Experience, branded and seamlessly integrated with their website and social media to deliver an all-encompassing customer experience.

To extend the reach of the solution, GBC staff on the road make use of the Salesforce Mobile App, allowing for work to be easily passed between teams and resolve issues without the need to return to the office/depot.

Internal teams are fully engaged with the new platform and are actively suggesting new features and improvements to be delivered in future project phases.

Prior to utilising Salesforce, Mainline predominately used spreadsheets in Excel to capture their data. NimbusPoint worked closely with Mainline to centralise their data, enabling users a 360 degree view of their customers.

Specialising in the operation of branded hotels, Atlas Hotels are an award-winning hotel company owning and operating hotels in the United Kingdom. Atlas Hotels are the UK’s biggest franchisee of the Holiday Inn Express brand with properties in Scotland, England and Wales.

Prior to adopting Salesforce, Atlas worked from spreadsheets and spent a lot of time manually inputting data. With employees working remotely, Atlas required a system to connect employees together.

Luminet is an intelligent managed serviced provider, offering organisations enterprise-class connectivity, communications, computing and security services. The services they offer include gigabit connectivity, multi-tenant internet and 100% service level agreements.

With increasing growth, Luminet needed their current Salesforce application to manage more complex capabilities. Manual tasks to multiple business process(s) was no longer appropriate, with visibility & tracking across the customer journey becoming an immediate concern. We offer best in class expert support services to organisations seeking to improve their gender balance, including engagement and advancement of women. WISE enables and energises people in business, industry and education to increase the participation, contribution and success of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Like many organisations experiencing growth, WISE found itself needing a better way to manage its increased volumes of data which resided in various documents and spreadsheets. With some staff working from home, the need for a centralised, collaborative platform was apparent.
